Welcome to another episode of Sativa Talk Podcast where we have blunt conversations. We like to talk about cannabis of course whether you are a vet, newbie, or just curious we got you covered. And we also like to get into some lifestyle and entrepreneurship as well. I am your host Angie T and we have our honorable co-host here Ms. Dracia like Glacier. How are you feeling today? I'm feeling awesome. Yes isn't today grand? It is! I'm so happy to be here. Thanks for having me. Got your little tank top on, your little shorts. You know a little shoulder action. Yeah I like it. Try to cover up with this with the long sleeve shirt but we'll see. Okay. Summer time. You ain't lying. Today we are celebrating a lot of things so this will be our official last episode on the UNLV channel. I appreciate you guys for tuning in with us. I appreciate this opportunity to continue to be on air. I appreciate you Tracia for holding me down. I appreciate you Wesley for holding me down. I appreciate you guys for tuning in. I kept getting emotional and I didn't want to do that. We are celebrating episode 22. Still didn't get the air horns on. Number 22 is perceived as the most powerful and creative number of all. This means you're able to overcome all kinds of obstacles and aren't easily knocked back by failure. However, you also love to be seen as successful so some may become frustrated if you struggle to achieve your aims. The number 11 22 and 33 are the only master numbers and they are powerful energy It's meant to connect us to the spiritual plane and to help us find our purpose in our existence The number 22 is capable of turning dreams into reality And as we end on that note of turning dreams into reality I have to speak over what I am experiencing in my life a lot of the opportunities and things that I'm doing right now was just a dream when I first moved here and it has in fact turned into a reality and it also taught me to I Can't say how the means said it on tick-tock, but the dream bigger. Oh, yeah think bigger Cuz you can get it big

Should have bought my tambourine

That's a word man. That is a word. 22 sounds like the bounce back number. You know? You know? You think it's like I mean I was even thinking about this myself just last year. I was actually this time last year I was having a great time but a couple weeks after this, terrible. Low. Bad. Depressed. Hurt. Beat up. You know it was And less than a year later, and it's like, I can see clearly now the rain is gone. You know, it's great when it all comes together and makes sense. It's just so nice. Yeah, you got to go through some things to even be like, wow, I made it through that. Yes, sucked. And sometimes you think that that's the end. That's the tell all of all things. And today, and we're constantly growing, evolving. I'm listening to 50 Cent's book, his latest, and he's in there and he's specifically saying, like, you've gotta be willing to evolve and grow. If you don't, you just get stuck, then you're stagnant and then, you know, you're mad that things and opportunities

0:04:20
didn't pass you by.

0:04:21
Absolutely, so not letting anything pass you by, but also staying and being firm on your boundaries because sometimes things come to you and you just need to let it fly. That's the fact. And let the next one come on around and that's okay too. I do have to give a special shout out and thanks to our sponsor, the Business Entertainment West. They are in the business of providing entertainment on the West Coast. You can find them on Instagram at bizentwest underscore Vegas and tell them thank you for bringing NGT back to the airways. Thanks y'all.

Of course we're going to get into some weed news. Now there's a couple things going on and this is

0:04:56
I'm gonna say it's a little ghetto y'all but it needs to be talked about. Is the BET Awards ghetto? Um yes I mean it's a little bit more I mean yeah. I feel like this story probably happened to the people that was on their way. Here we go. So there was actually a United Airlines worker that was busted for stealing marijuana from check luggage. Now this started in 2020. Fellows named Dunn and Webb, they oversaw the operation where other workers were paid $2,000 or more in cash each shift. Up to $10,000 a week baby. Now listen to steal large quantities of marijuana from check luggage. Now this is where it gets sticky right. They tried to bring on more workers if you will and they brought on a confidential informant. Of course they did. So things started to unravel about 2021 And they also were robbed. They were robbed at gunpoint at the San Francisco International Airport In the employee parking lot. They was talking too much Somebody was jibber-jabbering and buffing them guns. I'm trying to tell you my $10,000 a week is what they were It's what they were giving people potentially each shift. So ain't no telling what they were getting right for a year and I'm saying they started flexing on the ground like the people with them PPP's it happens every time every time now my thing is this it is it that many people smuggling marijuana in the air I listen now listen they had the nerve to report the robbery right but they forgot Wow. It was like we gonna talk about... You idiots. Some people just don't even need...

0:06:51
It's just...what?

0:06:53
Yeah, and so of course they did their investigation and started looking at video reports and well wait a minute, what's in the black trash bag? You ain't tell me. Y'all had a black trash bag? Y'all was taking trash out the trash in the other way. You going to the car. You never went to the dumpster. Listen. Listen, listen. That operation was shaky from the start. So there's that. Another thing, speaking of being shaky, I know I talk a lot about you know purchasing from dispensaries and whatnot. A lot of people like to bash the black market because I mean we really didn't know what we were buying out there as far as it being tested and if it had any bacteria, aspergillus, any of those things, right? So there was actually a dispensary in Reno who was cited because they actually sold cannabis that had aspergillus in it. Now that is usually tested. They sent it to get tested. They did all the things that they were required to do, but it was still, it still came back with that. Can you educate us on what aspergillus is. Okay. My bad. Just so y'all know Angie's finding the answer for us. What is an aspergillus? Aspergillus is a species of fungus and one of the most common aspergillus species to cause disease in individuals with an immune deficiency. Aspergillus typically found in soil and decaying organic matter such as compost heaps where it plays an essential role in carbon and nitrogen recycling. Okay so it sounds like a beneficial bacteria but not so beneficial if you are inhaling it. Absolutely. Roundabout. Gotcha. If you needed to know. Thank you for that educational moment. Thank you. So there's that. So and not all bacteria, let's be clear, not all bacteria that is found on there but aspergillus definitely is not. I mean it could actually shut down a whole plant if everything is infected so you definitely want to be careful of that. I just thought it was interesting that we walk into these dispensaries with such trust and you can still you paying taxes you paying all the extras trying to do your due diligence and you still got it. Lil Pookie ain't never gave me no ass for this. I'm just saying. I am not encouraging I am just educating. Just saying. Okay moving right along. Lifestyle. Now I found this interesting I was on the phone with my boyfriend when I found this and so luckily all of a sudden the garbage man was coming outside we couldn't finish this conversation we gonna finish this when I get home. Okay. Micro cheating. Oh Lord. What? Right? It's always a term. What is it? One thing about it it's a term for it. Whatever it is. It's gonna be something for it. So micro cheating is is basically it's kind of cheating but not really cheating. Actions that are such as like emotionally exclusivity if you are emotionally bound to someone else or confiding in someone else the way you should your partner according to this article is called at micro cheating. They actually gave a couple more examples. Secrecy. Secret lies and deceit are typically at the center of a form of infidelity and micro cheating is no exception. So an example is keeping their phone face down when they're around their partner. Is that secrecy? Kind of. I mean if you're intentionally putting your phone down but if you just sat your phone down and it's face down you know. Does it automatically equal infidelity? It's micro cheating. It says it's at the center of it so it's like that mustard that muster seed they talk about so much. Okay, I'm following. You know, okay. Another one is cross relationship boundaries. When a person is micro cheating, they are typically crossing relationship boundaries whether they know it or not. For instance, they may communicate with their ex despite knowing it makes their partner uncomfortable like models, pictures, or social media despite their partner having asked them to stop. That's a bit extreme. Hold on. At some point you have to ask yourself, am I just insecure? First of all, don't nobody want him girl. The model don't want him. It's okay.

0:11:53
He can like her, bitch.

0:11:54
It's not that deep. But what about talking with your ex? Yeah. Is that micro-cheating to you? I mean, I guess it definitely depends on what level of comfort you have, you know? Some people don't hate the people that they've been in relationships with in the past. Like, I'm one of those people. Just because I can still be cordial with you, I can still, you know, share me and be like, that this is funny or something like that. I don't think that's, you know, micro-cheating. Because at the end of the day. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Let's unpack that. Sure Sharing means with your ex and sharing laughs and kiki's That's giving micro cheating Yeah, what's a key for need to be a group chat? We need to all be on this chat kiki This is the way I feel I feel at the end of the day No one can be in every place at every time and it's also just to me. I don't want to feel like I have to police who you interact with Because at the end of the day also You're a person before you met me the people that you've known before me existed And I don't think that it's fair to tell a person Oh, you just need to cut all because unless of course there is Sometimes yes, I need to stick to the key keys in the inbox last year. No no no no Is it okay for your man to key key and ha ha and send memes to their ex? If it's a at the end of the day if he's doing anything outside to me, that's not a big deal Okay, it's not micro cheating. It's no I feel like it's not a problem to have a Look at this. It's something you can relate to. I don't feel like that. Okay, my girl cheating I just think that Whatever boundary you have as far as your relationship goes and that's another thing It depends on your relationship if in your relationship you don't want your partner to have any communication with any person with a vagina other than you then that's fine that's the precedent. I get it. I get it. You know because some people feel like that their partner shouldn't have friends of the opposite sex. I understand I was talking about you. I'm just generalizing. I'm thinking about it. At the end of the day you know what the boundaries are okay you can send a meme but you don't send no dollars and don't send no booty okay no body parts and none of that stuff other than that I don't have a problem with you conversing or anything. Okay I don't know I'm I think I may have like a three four meme a month cap like okay maybe one or two or like but we're not gonna spend every day all day okay but that's what I'm saying you know no no no I didn't want you say you said it's nothing y'all can keep yeah hey okay watch them you know which ones are total deal workers you act up a certain type of way act up act up that's it okay but what if they what if he sends her a mean that you posted and they keep keying in private. Is that okay? If the meme is funny? Yeah. It's funny. Okay. Okay. I'm just trying to see what the boundaries were. Like I say you got about a three-fold meme cap for me and what were we doing? Why are we laughing so much and trying to build that? What's so damn funny? Okay. Moving on. Let's see micro cheating. Inattention. So it can be normal for people to be distracted once in a while, but persistence, preoccupation, and lack of attention towards a significant other is a red flag. Not only for infidelity, but also for the level of commitment they feel in the relationship. For example, they're consistently on their phone, other devices, frequently looking at them. Okay. Yeah. Everything has a label micro cheating. I feel like this is disrespectful. Am I not interesting enough? Like, what do you? Hmm. That's just a matter of it's rude. And also and that could be a person that they may be on their phone, but they could be some like a person, a person that's in charge. And people are they maybe they don't know how to disconnect from their work you know it doesn't necessarily mean that they are sending some little messages to some other person but that's not what micro that's not what micro cheating is it doesn't always involve another person I think that's the what they're trying to make a point of micro cheating micro cheating is just you're I'm still getting cheated regardless of what you're giving your attention to I'm getting cheated of that attention that I need from you. Okay. So since you're so used to not giving me the attention that I need, that's, that's the mustard seed that can grow into infidelity. I think Wesley, am I am I going too far? You with me on this Wesley in the sound room? He's a media. I don't know. Okay. All right. I'm just I think it just goes out to you. At the end of the day, it's kind of like sounds like that you have to be able to make yourself happy you have to be able to feel seen and all those things if that person doesn't have the ability to you know spend that time if you're if your love language is quality time and communication all those things and that person isn't giving that then maybe that's not the person that matches with your love language yeah but they're micro cheating. Yes, they are. Next one is all right. I kind of agree with this article a little bit. So it's defensiveness. Speaking of which, okay, because you did we, we just try to communicate now you want to break up defensive. Another another characteristic of infidelity, including micro cheating is a tendency by the person cheating to downplay or flat out deny any wrongdoing when caught or confronted about dishonest activities. This defensiveness can look different. It can be deflected about issues, denying the action, flipping blame onto the partner, and just concocting an elaborate story. Explanations when claims of misconduct are brought up into their attention Okay Once I wouldn't call that Michael cheat you just you just You a liar you a cheater a deceiver heartbreaker Let you back Yeah, so that's what I factor that in and any micro at all. Yeah making me feel bad because I want some attention yeah there's nothing wrong with it i don't think anything's wrong with wanting attention okay girl that's it okay everything in moderation we're gonna have to get a guy on here well if we had another episode despair we would we got another one come on okay um speaking okay okay there was actually a uh twitter thread going around about black men and cheating and what not. But, well their viewpoint on infidelity. I mean not put that on because black men don't cheat. We'll continue that on maybe like an Instagram live or something. Because I definitely want to talk about this next story, knocking into entrepreneurship. So Rihanna actually appoints a European woman to be in charge of Fenty, to be the CEO of Fenty. And the girlies are upset about it. I personally, listen, look, Rihanna built this business from the ground up. It's always gonna be, she has every right to do what she wants, to pass this torch along to the most qualified person within her camp. Regardless of the skin tone? That does not matter at all. Honestly, it's her business. Right. I mean, I'm pretty sure she's gonna, she's still affiliated with the company at a certain capacity, but if she's working alongside this woman and she's vetting her out, what are we even talking about? People don't get so upset about what other people are doing with their stuff. Like you ain't the CEO or nothing. You sitting here mad because Rihanna is choosing what she's choosing. Okay. Is she qualified? Is she not qualified? Now the challenge I'm sure that people are seeing, specifically black folks, is just saying well we need to be having somebody in there to look like us. I'm like it's started, run, and it has the inclusivity to include people like us anyway. Now I'll be fair and say we don't necessarily see that on the other from other businesses usually there's but they're trying to get their diversity together I guess. I mean well let's just peel peel everything back and just to correct it back Rihanna is going to be the company's executive chair so like I said she's still affiliated with the business. It's still hers. Exactly it's still hers but her philanthropy work let's be very clear on this.

0:20:52
That's her core.

0:20:53
Exactly. Rihanna constantly gives back. She's constantly giving these opportunities, constantly. So, once again. Gotta hit it with the Tyrese.

0:21:02
What more do you want from me?

0:21:04
Yeah, it's her business. She has every right to pass it over to whoever she feels is qualified to run it while she's away. She's got to give birth to another baby. She's growing her family. She ain't got time to be doing no CEO stuff. That's the other thing that people don't realize. They're like oh they want to be a CEO so bad. I'm a CEO. The CEO is the hardest-working person in that caliber in that space you know. Everybody's livelihood is on their back. Right and the goal for real of a person like Rihanna is to not be the CEO. That's her goal. You guys want some music don't you? How do you think this is gonna happen? I ain't getting no music regardless. You might she ain't you know she's giving the hard work to somebody else so she might have a tune or two maybe another Black Panther. We don't need them type of tunes. You ain't lying. It put me to sleep baby. Okay so Nick I did want to talk about the BET Awards. There were a lot of great moments they've been highlighted on social media so there was a lot of great moments i saw bust arounds up there i love the fact that they had afro beats they had um uh i can't i was gonna say patty labelle paying a tribute to tina but you know what that's still a part of the culture okay getting up somewhere and singing the songs you don't know the words to that's part of that's a part of it. I agree with that. I agree. And we love you the same Patty. That's right. And your pies. I was gonna mention them pies. Yeah, that you have to that you need to put in the oven. I don't know if y'all know that but you you when you buy the pie you need to put it in the oven real quick. I eat that pie raw. Paper plastic still on it. Rip the, rip no plastic off. That pie is good. Just like it is. But there was a very good perspective that was brought up and you know people saying that you know BET Awards it was ghetto it was this it was that. Were there some elements? Yeah. Is that a part of the culture? Yeah. Okay. But I would like to see some more black excellence right so the the commentary was you know have the Angela Assett and the Whoopi Goldbergs and the Morgan Freeman like have these people involved at some capacity like let's class it up a little bit more you know they showed a picture of the front row I want to say it was like Jay-Z and Beyonce and Kanye West and Nicki Minaj like they were all in the front row right that's when a-list celebrities took pride in the BET Awards and now it's kind of like trickling down to the tiktokers and the Instagram influencers and people that talk about their reckless Yeah, miss poundtown. Okay. It was kind of cringy when I saw her perform in front of a what was the black guy's name? He used to be in charge of BET. Oh Gosh, what is his name? I don't know, but I just can't understand That's all came up on my Spotify the other day and I ran to my phone don't you play that no more don't play it Bob Johnson Bob Johnson is that his name I think that is the old um I think that is yeah and he was there right and I'm all about a good time but come on come on so I think um well Tala Perry just took it took over it and there's a writer's block going on as well. A writer strike so they didn't have a host. There's a writer strike happening? Yes because they're trying to replace the writers with AI or integrate and so they're like well wait a minute no we're not we're not doing that. And there's a lot of actors that are actually standing with these writers so I definitely give respect to that because it's only gonna be recreated stuff anyway so I feel that too. You feel what? I feel the whole idea of like you know have the human creatives create and not have to compete with AI but we can't not integrate with it because that's just like the evolution of humanity at this point it's kind of like it's not gonna go anywhere cuz y'all start striking if anything they gonna start typing in them prompts in the chat GPT Well, they wouldn't nobody type type in the prompts when Patty was looking for them lyrics. So somebody took the shift off So I didn't even watch it yet. Yeah Yeah, a lot of the reviews and whatnot So I just think that I don't know that's just that is definitely something that's gonna have to like meet in the middle because like you Said AI is so new. It's not going anywhere. So baby, listen, I don't know. But there's a lot of big production companies that are shut down right now because of the writer strike. This is, this is a pretty big deal. So having them come and meet in the middle, I don't know, because AI isn't quite there yet where it's going to be able to, to give what these writers can so they have a little bit of leverage right now. But I don't know what to what to make so they have a little bit of leverage right now but I don't know what to what to make of this in the future I'm excited to see what happens when you said it remind me of the mean with the the girls standing right outside the house on fire and she's like smiling evil e like okay all right so I think we got to get out of here. Wesley, how much time do we have? No time? Three minutes? Three minutes. Yeah, it's time to get out of here. So once again, I appreciate you guys for tuning in.
