0:01:09
Thank you

0:01:11
Working on the background effects. Okay. And then, we have an OG over here at Sativa Talk Podcast. Y'all know she ain't far, okay? She's close by. Dresher like Glacier. How you doing today? I'm good. I'm hot. Yeah?

0:01:29
Hot, but I'm good.

0:01:30
It is a little warm.

0:01:31
The weather is really doing a thing, so.

0:01:32
That's wonderful.

0:01:33
Yeah. I went to, where did I go? Where did I just come back from Chicago It was snowing so I had to humble myself and be very grateful for what's happening in Vegas. I believe in that yeah I'm just glad to be here. Yeah, because you just landed and your flight went through a tornado wait a minute Right like a real tornado like in Kansas y'all did you see it a little bit? You know dark? See I woke up to it.

0:02:05
I was in my refrain.

0:02:06
Wait a minute, so was it like in the movies when the plane was like shaking and stuff falling from the ceilings? Nothing was falling, but it was turbulent.

0:02:14
It was turbulent, yes.

0:02:16
They secured my little neighbor.

0:02:18
Yeah.

0:02:19
Wow, I'm glad that you have made it here with us, Ney-Ney. Thank you. This would have been sad if it was us. Oh no, I was gonna make it. Through the tornado. Oh wee. I could not imagine it. I have my own parachute don't worry about me. Hey then uh we on the airplane need to take those naps. Those kind of take you out of the whole dimension so to wake up to turbulence and the tornado. It's traumatic. It's giving we need to go to a dispensary after we leave here. I believe that.

0:02:51
Happy Holidays.

Now listen, we are celebrating episode 15. Now those with the numerology number 15 generally poses a strong sense of responsibility and have a caring nature as well. With 15 named number, also known as the destiny number of numerology charts, such as a person is typically nurturing and has a very specific belief about life. So I pose the question, how are you guys feeling as far as your nurturing side? Do you feel tapped in? You feel like you're trying to tap in? Do you see room for improvement? I'll give you guys a chance to marinate on that and I'll speak for myself. I do feel I do see now how before I was not operating using my nurturing and feminine side because I can't say the word but people be... They be trying you out. They be peoplein'. Sometimes it almost feels like when you get it out the mud it feels like you can't operate in your feminine energy and be nurturing. Which in reality for me it just reflected that I had a lack of balance. So yes it's okay to be nurturing but it's not okay to be nurturing to someone who is taking advantage of your knowingly gaslighting you or doing something along those effects and giving excuses because they may have had a hard time coming up When I am the one that's gonna be suffering in the end So now that I'm tapping to that and I can easily say no and just conveniently walk away from stuff I feel great about it. I like being soft I don't like a man who likes me to be soft Cuz we can get into some stuff, but I want to baby baby I think I'm like generally a nurturing person and I didn't realize I was a nurturing person because I already I come across really relaxed I guess being a massage therapist 11 years made me really be this monotone person that I am but I I guess I am nurturing but I think that I'm dishing it dishing it out to the folks that need the plates. The people that are hungry for me to tell them about themselves I am serving the dish and I am proud to be the chef that I am. I love that. Yeah okay. Balance baby. Well that's a part of being nurturing too. I think people confuse it with being soft. Yeah, because you kind of need that tough you know tough I can still be kind but I don't need to you know the truth doesn't have to hurt type of thing. The first time coming out. First time. The next time. So yes I would have to piggyback on her and say that I'm learning how to turn my hands down because I would always like try to be there or like catch people before they fall or like oh they need my help no I need my help so yeah that's where I'm at with it. It's all about me. I believe in that. Yes. Love it. All right well I do gotta give a quick shout out to our sponsors the Business Entertainment West. They are in the business of providing entertainment on the West Coast. You can find them at Instagram at bizentwest underscore Vegas and tell them thank you for bringing NGT back to the airwaves. So I know that this will be aired a little bit after but in the celebratory things it's gonna go throughout the weekend 420. Now I don't know why I feel like I'm maybe I learned this every year the history of 420 right. I'm thinking that maybe some large bill maybe that was you know ab 420 or maybe you know something became legal at 4 20 p.m. and it's as simple as a story of I believe about five or six high schoolers they used to meet after school at 4 20 p.m. by the campus. They called themselves Waldo because they used to meet at a particular wall and they would smoke. This is back in 1971.

0:06:51
Gotta love the 70s, man.

0:06:53
So I just learned something new today.

0:06:56
That's powerful, you know?

0:06:57
I feel let down.

0:06:58
You thought it was gonna be something cool?

0:07:00
I needed something a little bit more to hold on to. Nah, we just doing what the homies did.

0:07:07
In 1971.

0:07:07
In the 70s, you know. It's a tradition, you know? I mean, okay. We don't know the founding folks, but... Right. Where's their picture? And if it's not a person of color, I don't know. It could be urban legend. I'm just saying I need to see these folks. But so yeah, so that's the history. I know now, you know, 420 can be used when you when the officer uses it. I believe it's like a code for we have people consuming marijuana. That's basic.

0:07:37
Laughter.

0:07:39
Listen.

0:07:41
I mean at least let it be a code.

0:07:43
That's our code. How do you use our code? We know what that means officer. I'm trying to tell you. So yeah, but one thing I did found that was pretty cool. Some farmers are testing feeding the cows like a hemp cake. So this hemp cake does have a little bit of THC, CBD in it. It also contains 35% protein. So of course hemp cake is fed to animals that need to gain weight, get fit, or produce more milk and have healthy siblings. But also there's going to be small traces of THC in it. Now I'll be interested in trying it because this time it's not infused necessarily by the chef. This is something that was fed to a cow. You know I'm saying this is he was bred into this. It's marinate That's how you really marinate your meat You feed it to the animal before

0:08:34
Grade a

0:08:36
Maybe it'll help the cows with their you know anxiety

0:08:40
Trauma yeah, they're headed to the slaughter. You ever see that I follow the people that be stealing the chickens from the farms and stuff. They go to jail for them animals. And I wish I cared like that. That I'd be like, you know, I'm never eating lamb again. But I love lamb. That's quite tasty. So but you know, lamb chops. Wait, who's stealing chicken? You didn't know. So I follow a lot of the group, the vegan groups, you know, like these are the vegans that don't do it. They don't necessarily do it for the health of you. You know, obviously we know we eat less meat, we're less likely to have a heart attack or stroke. But these people are so, they are like, you know, the take carers of the animals. They're like, hey, this, yeah, but... PETA would steal chickens. Yeah, yeah, they'd be on that level. Yeah. Okay, they go they still go like I'll follow everybody all the stories they'd be ready to send them people down the creek to prison for stealing. Like ma'am, you can't lead cows out of their, their death trail. So that's the THC will help, like you said, with their anxiety and the the fact that they know where they are. Go vegan guys. Girl, cause we so about to go to In-N-Out. As soon as we walk up out here. As soon as we leave. I'm just saying, on the flip side, if you're not ready to go vegan, I am supporting if there's something I need to sign. The hemp fed cows. Absolutely. Chickens, lambs, all of them. Yep. Can't do nothing but help. So, moving on, I want to get you guys opinion on that. help so moving on I want to get you guys opinion on that please don't cancel us okay we support everybody we everybody and I do eat vegan we eat everybody yeah I had some this morning it was good shout out to NGT yeah okay but yeah so um Chance the Rapper he is under a lot of fire right now he went to the carnival I want to say in Jamaica and there was a video that surfaced of him dancing and having fun. Now mind you this is his 30th birthday as well so not only is he young black and successful not only does he have a successful family and a friend unit he's also celebrating his birthday and it's carnival so everybody's. When people don't know the culture they go all do extra stuff. It's like that's the culture. So would you if you see boo thing right now if you came across the video scrolling As you was looking at these slaughter videos. It just so happened to see Cuz he smacked it too. I had a really look at it. He's Smacking it It was like it was like one good slap on the one half slap At least he wasn't doing WWE moves. Yeah. Or maybe I would prefer that. Drop kick her. Don't, don't, don't let her back it up. Supposed to kick her in the neck. That's fair. Nene, where do you stand? Man, I was on his side at first, but he smacked it twice. I'm on my way to Jamaica.

0:11:59
I'm on my way to Jamaica to be in the carnival act.

0:12:02
I'm trying to tell you.

0:12:03
We can have, we can do it. Yes. I'm going to show you how to get it done.

0:12:08
We can get it done, nae-nae.

0:12:10
Yes.

0:12:11
It's not a problem. That would be my thing.

0:12:13
It's like, first, OK, is the wife OK with this?

0:12:16
And then second of all, are you OK if the roles were reversed? That's what you got to ask yourself. Because you know social media would blow that up and then she'd be the next how they treated Your boy's wife Ayesha Curry. Oh, how they treated her when she says she wanted attention She just used her words. Women can't get rid of, get away with certain things

0:12:37
Mm-hmm

0:12:39
They gone bat they eyes at this. Now what what was kind of interesting to me is I talked to a male earlier today And I got his perspective now. He is going through a divorce so he has a little bit more experience with what you shouldn't be doing and how it makes your wife feel. And he was like that that is not a good idea because of like even if she agreed to him having fun it's just a backlash. Now people are in their business, now people feel entitled to tell her what she should or shouldn't do. Now it's a topic of conversation. I mean heck we're talking about it here. So it's the background stuff that happens more so. I believe he said he got caught at a carnival in Brazil or something. They was drinking, singing Aaliyah's back back and forth and forth. And got caught up on the media. Well, now I've seen, I don't, I like to think I'm open. Yeah. Was his wife there? Was she there? No, she was at home with kids. Hold up, I mean, excuse me y'all, my bad.

0:13:40
I'm on my way to Brazil.

0:13:42
This is the thing, okay. Now, if she was there and they were kicking it, it's his birthday, because you're saying all of these, he's a successful guy, celebrating his birthday, blah blah blah. And I believe people can go separate for their birthdays, yes. But I guess I would have preferred her to be there or something. At least be at the hotel, girl. Dang. In the state, like, you know, if you ain't in a state, that dance, that dance can turn into so many things later. And again, that type of stuff could happen anytime. People have whole things where if I ain't in the same state as you, what happens? Happens. When I'm with you, I'm with you. Yeah, it's people like that. Now, if you want to play like that, we can play like that. I'm trying to tell you, I've been there, done that, never. I can't. I can't. That is not. I'm too old for it now. My nerves can't take it. I'm telling you. Okay, so moving on, of course, we always like to talk about how it is running a business, the ups and the downs, right? So DaBaby, I wanted to talk about him because now he's coming out publicly saying that he wants to work with Meg Thee Stallion. I feel like as entrepreneurs especially in the cities that we work and we thrive in there's going to be people that we work with that it just did not work out for whatever reason and they're going to try to spin the block especially if you continue to grow if you continue to flourish. So how do you guys handle that? Or matter of fact if you can talk about an experience you had when that's happened to you and how did you respond?

0:15:15
We said, okay, wait a minute, the baby wants to do business with

0:15:18
me. Yeah, I really Okay, well, okay, well, okay, well, let me dress it up. I'm

0:15:23
sorry. And this is under the assumption everybody know, I

0:15:25
know, let me break it down real quick. So basically, the baby and Meg had a working relationship, they were cool featured on each other songs posted on social media so when the whole Tory Lanez and Meg The Stallion thing happened DaBaby had made some ignorant comments and he even brought out Tory Lanez during the set for Party which was Meg The Stallion's boyfriend at the time. He kind of inserted himself where it wasn't necessary. So it's like a person you meet in the industry y'all think y'all cool and then they do something to kind of let you know we ain't cool like that so it's like all right will you stay over there I'll stay over here but now that the baby's trying to rebuild his fan base because of the stuff with Danny Lay and all that so now he's trying to get back on the good graces so get somebody else to do it. Yeah because I've had experience like that with somebody where we was both in the same salon together this person came in. Hold on, I knew you did have. I saw them nails. Oh, you need stitch braiding? I do. I'm sorry. And so we were in the same salon together. I was trying to help her out because we were kind of like family. But she inserted herself in a situation that had nothing to do with her trying to override me. So once I was gone from that situation, she realized like all the stuff that I was saying like I was really trying to be beneficial to her more so Then be funny towards the person that she thought I was being funny to I Would never do business with her again like I want her to be successful I hope she has a high clan base, but I just would never want to do business with her again. Yes, right after you reach a certain spot with somebody and you see how they can act. With it, which is nurture button, nurture button got to go down. I'm channeling my Angela. And you have to trust that they're going to be exactly who they are. They are, and that's okay for them to be how they are too, but they're gonna be them over there. I completely agree. But for me, sometimes it's like, I've had to work with them because maybe they collaborated on an event or something along those lines. For me, I just look at it like, if it's something like as far as like booking me, if you try to play me before, oh, you're getting, it's double next time around. That's the fact. That's just how the game gonna go. Pay me the last time and next time. Yeah but if it's something personal where I got going on you know no I'm with you I don't I don't even I don't want to get burned I don't want to be upset about you not paying are you not doing something that you didn't do to everybody else I don't even want to get like that I like people thinking that I'm nice sweet country girl blah blah blah like I'm okay whatever y'all thinking me I'm just think some people think that I just party and drink all day. I don't care. Keep that image in your mind and leave me out of it. That part. Yeah so I just thought that was interesting like I said the baby was real cool with her and then did some kind of snaky stuff and I was like but wait a second now you want my my followers back you want my friendship back. He need to sit down anyway. Yeah so in the In the spirit of it being for a 20 weekend. I wanted to talk about Snacks now my friend brought that up So you should talk about what's your favorite snack food when you get the munchies and whatnot so did you guys know the icy? The with polar bear is teaming up with I think it's Captain Crunch, and they're coming out with the flavor I see well. I'm gonna try that Cuz it's my favorite. I see the wild berry. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like that's going to be great. The oops berries. Oh yeah. That's good. Tateroo for your mouth up. Yeah, but it's good. You won't be able to get to it for a couple of days. So what other snacks? What is it? What's your go to? And Wesley, what's yours? Y'all go ahead while Wesley's talking. Mine's just Gushers, the mixed berry ones. Okay, early nights, early 2000s.

0:19:42
Yes.

0:19:43
They still make that?

0:19:44
Yeah.

0:19:46
Gushers?

0:19:46
And Speedway, I get a pack every night.

0:19:49
Oh.

0:19:49
Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.

0:19:54
Oh. Oh, yeah. You can't go wrong with hot fries. I don't care what the mood is.

0:20:00
And you can dip them in stuff.

0:20:01
Cream cheese, ranch, cheese, little butter spread on top, little hot sauce, little garlic pepper. Alright, we're taking a new fire. See, and that's how I am with my munchies. I fix a meal. I am. Your creative side comes in. My creative side, when I tell you, you're like, oh I made some étouffée. something. Yeah and if there are snacks the thing is that it don't really matter what it is I'm gonna eat it. Yeah I'm gonna eat it. So it's whatever is in the house. It's gonna hit the spot. For sure if I had a choice definitely turtles that's my favorite candy of all time. I love the turtles. I try to stay away from the hot fries and whatever that red stuff is they put on there that's apparently causing cancer or something. Oh no okay it's stressful keeping up. Skittles can't never go wrong with that either. They got that red down there too. The fruity pebbles candy bar have y'all had that? It's white chocolate with the fruity pebbles in it.

0:21:17
Oh my goodness.

0:21:18
I hope they get one here at the store. You know the white chocolate covered Oreos that they do on Christmas time? Them things.

0:21:25
In the freezer.

0:21:26
Get them cold.

0:21:27
That's how you do it. Why they only do it to 100 kids? I'm hungry right now. I treat them like I treat Girl Scout cookies. I got them in the freezer, in the bag, in reserve. Get extra of it. Yes, I love that candy. It actually makes me think about my mom because she used to hide them during the Christmas time and I always found them and ate some. Yeah, it was five of us. So how's she gonna know which one of us did it? Exactly. So I definitely did that. It's like stealing from Santa. You ain't gonna miss it. You ain't gonna miss it. Yeah. Okay. I want to come right now. Fire. All right, last snack. Wings, wings and pizza. I know we said you can't just because I'm a stoner doesn't mean you can limit me but I talked about that one episode. Let me pick the piece. You don't come to me with pizza. Not with that pizza. I want deep dish pizza too. Not little Caesars. Sorry. Can y'all know how I felt about that little Caesars. We talked about that. I want the deep dish. I need to get the real deal Holyfield. Absolutely. So we're gonna go ahead and head out of here in a second. I'm trying to get a take advantage of some of these deals that's happening out here cuz once again 420 weekend everybody wants you to come in and I know you did yeah I'm ready to me on what we do maybe is ready you know you get people to come in from out of town baby they gonna wear you out you know it's the first thing I said at the airport so can we go to the illegal ways of Wow, okay, please Okay, I need to know Brought up here as a TV talk podcast is not support the views With this that we gonna get out of here Go ahead give you social media what you got going on everything.
